Timeline for hosting a hoof trimming clinic:

  1. At least one month prior to clinic, host and I select a location and date.
  2. Host and I go over which duties each of us will handle, and what information will be presented in the clinic.
  3. Host provides me with information needed for the flyer, registration forms, info packet.
  4. I create a flyer, registration forms, and information packet.
  5. I announce clinic on my website, providing online access to clinic flyer, forms, info packet.
  6. Host and I publicize the clinic via email and flyers.
  7. Pre-registration begins and forms and payment start to arrive.
  8. Clinic day arrives at last!

Information needed from the host: This information is used to produce a clinic flyer, registration forms, and information packet for the clinic, once we set a date.

  • Copy of liability release for your facility
  • Street address and driving directions to your facility
  • Special rules that visitors to your facility should observe
  • Extra charges or considerations for horses visiting your facility
  • Location of lavatory that clinic participants may use
